Numark Scratch is a 24-bit two-channel mixer that redefines what you can do with an affordable 2-channel scratch mixer. With Scratch, you’ll be able to create and perform at a higher level than you ever thought was possible—especially with a mixer in the affordable price category. Scratch is really something special, it brings a new look and design to the mixer category. Boasting an all-metal build with professional features such as a built-in Innofader crossfader, performance pads, instant loop encoder, and toggle paddles to trigger software-based effects. To top it off, it comes with Serato DJ Pro and Scratch is Serato DVS ready.
Its soft responsive performance pads give you the freedom to access cues, rolls, and sampler quickly. The pad mode makes it very convenient to set hot cue points, roll temporary loops, and trigger samples at ease. Six dedicated software-based FX to apply to individual channel or both using the premium performance base toggle paddles. You can adjust your FX mix from Dry to Wet as you feel the mix.

The butter-smooth Innofader crossfader is designed with the turntablist in mind to perform most intricate and accurate scratches. You have two switches above the crossfader; 1.) reverse the channels and the other 2.) change the slope for a hard cut or a soft curve for mixing.
Easily connect to the Numark Scratch, whether you use traditional turntables or media players. Scratch unlocks Serato DVS for Serato DJ Pro instantlya and you can keep the beat going by pressing the encoder down, and it will loop to the default parameters set in your software. Turn the knob to the right to extend the beat and to the left to shorten the loop.
Scratch has all the necessities with premium features for any setup. There is an XLR main output and unbalanced booth output for the best booth/dance floor experience. There are unbalanced inputs for both line and phono inputs for each channel. A microphone/auxiliary input for XLR or ¼-inch TS controlled by the mic level knob on the mixer gives you all the versatility you could ask for. Ace controller to have around the house. Easy to move around with the battery and USB-C power and being totally standalone. Love the minimal look and the functionality is just right for me, everything I need to play with confidence. Streaming of Beatport and TIDAL has now also been added with a firmware update, and works nicely. I sold a DDJ-1000 and got this to replace it and am very happy.
Only thing I'm missing is maybe a second USB port to transition between DJs, but there are workaround for this.

I am from the USA and had to scour high and low to be able to find a pair of these special limited edition control vinyls. Only 1500 copies were pressed and so I am grateful Mix Foundation had some in stock and was willing to ship in internationally to me. Ultimately It’s A Laptop Stand
So, um… yep, it’s definitely a laptop stand, and it is indeed black (as pictured). It stands and holds… erm… laptops. It may even hold other items, like a bag of potato chips (update: it will not feasibly hold a bag of potato chips although this is most likely the result of a flaw in the design of the potato chip bag, rather than the stand).
Unfortunately, it’s also unlikely to hold a very heavy item either, like, say, a car. Or even just a car engine. To be fair, UDG has never claimed that this stand will hold any sort of vehicle. Still, I suggest you’d be better off purchasing a hoist or jack if you plan to lift a vehicle of any description. And yes, I get that this might seem a bit OVER THE TOP for a smaller vehicle, like a bicycle.
I use the stand when DJing. It ELEVATES my performance. It’s outSTANDING and really LIFTs my confidence. The audience also gets a RISE out of interacting with it. Using it really is the Ultimate HIGH.
An unexpected benefit is that the blackness of the stand matches the color of my soul after playing "Wagon Wheel," “TikTok” or "I Gotta Feeling" for the one million billion gazillionth time.
By 2:45 AM, I can really use the BOOST provided by the beauty of the stand’s shiny finish. While this might seem beneficial at first, it often turns into a downside; I start contemplating how the stand will likely lose its shine as it ages. This sends my morale into a downward spiral as I reflect on my own aging. I begin to question some of my life choices. Am I losing my shine? I mean, I’m not in as good shape as I was when I was unboxed. (It occurs to me that this may be due to the potato chips.) Whatever the reason, this line of thought makes me sad. However, it’s probably unreasonable to blame the stand for this.
I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a UDG Ultimate Height Adjustable Laptop Stand in Black. But only if you’re looking for a stand for your laptop.
(Further update: The potato chip problem can be resolved by ensuring that you install the firmware update and place the bag UNDER the erect laptop stand. Note that this will only work with thin-cut chips.) ((Some thick-cut chips may work if the bag is reinforced—I have yet to test this, so you might want to tread lightly before going all gung-ho with your chip placement choices. Also, make sure to keep a backup of the stand. Not the chips)). Side note: I would also NOT suggest that you tread ON the stand, no matter how lightly you might do so.
Whether you’re an expert laptop stand user or still a relative novice, I hope I’ve convinced you to purchase this stand.
